Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. also has enjoyed mixing and staying up to date with the overwhelming growth of new and emerging artists of the 2000's such as Black Eyed Peas, Flo Rida, Key$ha, Lady Gaga, Nelly, Kid Rock, Cold Play, Tupac, Snoop, Miguel Migs, Akon, Daft Punk, Ray-J, Jamie Foxx, T-Pain, Missy Elliot, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Roger Sanchez, Elvis Crespo, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Dave Matthews Band, and Jack Johnson among many, many, many, more.

Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. prides himself on being very flexible and as a flexible DJ he reads the crowd and plays music specifically requested by the client. In this way he is a client-centered DJ and MC. Coordination services are included in his fee. Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. coordinates with clients, caterers, and other vendors (photographer/videographer) starting with guest arrival and continuing on through the event to the last fast and last slow dance songs of the evening. Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley is perfect for any wedding, corporate party, celebration, or high school dance - his client list is very impressive (available upon request) and he has been DJ/MC'ing full time since 2002. He started as a Karaoke DJ. Working his way up from Karaoke clubs and big family entertainment centers such as Dave & Buster's in Milpitas, CA to large scale ballroom events at many of the most elegant venues on the west coast. 

These past 8 years of non-stop DJ'ing has given Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. the hands on job experience needed in various technical performance environments. He has worked with a lot of digital equipment including screen projectors, DJ/KJ (Disc Jockey/Karaoke Jockey) computer software systems, lighting systems, and small to large scale sound systems. This experience he believes has been necessary for him to successfully operate Pro DJ sound systems in various event environments. He is grateful for all of his past clients and opportunities to work in this profession and in this capacity as a sound technician and entertainer. 

Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. also prides himself on his vast knowledge of international music catering to clients of international heritage. DJ Matt loves the flavor of international music such as compositions from India/Far East (Bollywood), Nigeria, West, Central, & South Africa, Europe, Israel (Jewish Clientele appreciate this for Bar/BatMitzvahs and Jewish Weddings/Celebrations), South American music including Rio De Janeiro/Bahia/Pernambuco (Brasil), Afro-Venuzuelan, Afro-Peruvian, Afro-Colombian, Afro-Latin, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Puerto Rican, Honduran, and Mexican musical styles. Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. has found that the most popular latin styles of the Sonoma, Bay Area, San Francisco, Sonoma, San Jose, Placerville, Half-Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Salinas, San Benito, and Santa Barbara Counties have been by and large Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Boleros, Rancheros, & Reggaeton.

Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. plays all styles of music. In the coordination services that he offers, specific attention is put on the planning and preparation process of the song-list and day of event itinerary.

Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. produces, and performs music of the North and South America, Cuba, the Caribbean, Brazil, and Europe as his hobby. He is fascinated with playing bass line melodies and motifs on the Electric and Acoustic Bass. He is also dedicated to his Samba Batucada group and dance performance group entitled "Matt Riley's Rhythm Train" and his dedication to the study and performance of Latin percussion including: Congas, Bongo, Timbales, Maracas, Clave, Guiro, Bell, and Shekere).

Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. is always striving for continual improvement and so each event is approached with great detail and care. DJ Matt has traveled and studied in Europe, West Africa, Brazil, Honduras, and is a yearly attendee at Jazz Camp West, Afro-Cuba Camp, and California Brazil Camp in order to keep engrossed in music composition, fellowship, and performance.

Pro DJ/MC Matt Riley M.A. also holds a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology with a specialization in Transformational Life Coaching. As a result of his schooling, he has developed a youth leadership training and development program utilizing music systems as way to teach leadership in an experiential curriculum.
